"Once Obama speaks, confetti will rain down on him and fireworks will be fired off from locations around the stadium wall."
"And after the sermon, Barak taketh with him Joey Hairplugs and Nancy Pelosi and Ted Kennedy, and leadeth them up into an high rocky mountain apart by themselves, and was transfigured before them. And his garments became shining and exceeding white as snow, so as no fuller upon earth can make white, not even the Klan. And there appeared to them Margaret Sanger with Aldolf Hitler: and they were talking with Barak. And Joey Hairplugs answering, said to Barak: Oh stooge of the Chicago Machine, it is good for us to be here. And let us make three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Margaret Sanger, and one for Adolf Hitler. For he knew not what he said: for they were struck with fear. And there was a cloud overshadowing them. And the voice of Moloch voice came out of the cloud, saying: This is my most beloved Son. Hear ye him."

O'Reilly said Teddy wasn't long for this world. One can only hope. . . .
Even more, Melly, we can hope that, bad as he is, he gets his soul in order before the end comes. You can be sure that even Mary Jo Kopechne, if she is in heaven, is praying for him.
Man...I can't wait to see how you rip on the Republicans.
What makes you think I won't?
Well you did say that you stopped calling yourself a conservative a long time ago.
Adolf Hitler?!?!?
Adolf Hitler?!?!?
Um, yeah. Moloch Obama's whorish love for infanticide does warrant the comparison.
And I stopped calling myself a conservative because the word means nothing any more. When "conservative" means supporting torture, unending war, and a vast expansion of the federal government, then the word has lost all meaning.
So you're going to stay home and not vote this November? I doubt it.
Both major party candidates are not pro-life. Obama is for abortion while McCain is for embryonic stem-cell research. So now what?
You either stay home and shut your mouth or go to the polls November 4th and vote for one of them not because they're both pro-choice, but in spite of it. That's the reality.
I didn't serve our country in the Air Force to sit on my ass and not vote. Thank you very much.
p.s. I'm done reading your blog. Goodbye and good luck.
Well golly, I never meant for you to leave, David. I didn't serve in the U.S. Marines to sit on my ass and not vote either. (And greetings to a fellow vet, btw.)
But neither did I serve in the Marines to limit myself to just one of two choices. There ARE third parties. And don't waste my time by saying a third party vote is a wasted vote. By your own words, 'tis better to vote than to not vote, and the only wasted vote is a vote not made. So I'll vote for the Doomed Quixotic Candidate 9as Mark Shea likes to put it) of my choice and pray like the dickens that the worse of the two major party candidates -- Obama -- loses.
You want to know what the reality is? The reality is, more and more in this country, the orthodox Catholic is politically homeless. But I never said I'd not vote.
I guess I let my emotions get the best of me in my previous comment.
I just want to vote for the candidate that believes in subsidiary and doesn't give in to big business or big government.
Hey, no worries mate! Perfectly understandable. I'm frustrated too, but beer helps.
For subsidiarity, you might best try -- I'm not kidding -- the Green Party. These guys really do believe in subsidiarity, even if they have never heard that term, or heard of G.K. Chesterton. They believe this even in their party structure: every local chapter is allowed to form its own platform, since those at the national level figure those at the local level know what is best for them. What other party does that?
And yeah, most of their candidates will inevitably be pro-abortion. But with every candidate being pro-abortion, it is basically eliminated as an issue. Plus, the Green Party strongly supports the Second Amendment, something you can't even always trust the GOP to do any more.
I prefer the Constitution Party over the Green Party because the Constitution Party is pro-life, but if the Constitution Party isn't on your local ballot then go Green.
